After the Buddha passed away, his relics were brought by monks to many areas and many kingdoms where those monks journeyed to teach Buddhism. With the faith of Buddhism, after people understood Buddhism, they built the stupas at the religious place. Monks gave Buddha’s Relics to be preserved at the stupas.
